I suffer from low-back pain. It’s been a bit like the boiling frog problem where it gets worse so slowly over the years, I almost don’t realize what I’ve been losing. Then the sciatica hit and I realized I had to do something–I couldn’t walk down a flight of stairs when it hit.
I’d visited a variety of medical professionals over a period of about 5 years. I saw multiple osteopaths, physical therapists, general practitioners, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists and massage therapists. In the end I saw on the order of 40 different people and only massage helped materially, but nothing provided lasting relief.
Through my efforts, I’d learned that there wasn’t something going on that anyone could point a finger at and fix. I knew I needed to work out with someone because I found that the accountability of telling someone “I’d be there” really made all the difference in my consistency.
A friend told me about Taylor and when we connected, Taylor asked me a lot of questions about my condition–in more depth than I had been used to.
We started with very simple movements with little or no weight, and it quickly became apparent that much of my problem was postural. Even though I am fairly active, a sitting job, sitting in the car, these sedentary aspects of my lifestyle were taking their toll. Just getting the basic movements correct had a dramatic impact on the ball of tension and restriction my lower back felt even from the first workout.
It has now been 8 months. There is a dramatic improvement in that my sciatica has not returned, my lower back pain has lessened dramatically and the guarded, restrictive feeling has almost entirely disappeared. Most importantly, my back is much more resilient to being injured from day-to-day activities of moving, bending and lifting. It is very clear we are on the right road to a happier and healthy lifestyle.
I look forward to where things will be in another eight months! It’s clear that you have a deep understanding how different parts of the body work together to move properly and our journey together has given me back more time and energy, active times with my kids and even a more positive outlook on life in general.
Thank you Taylor, you are amazing!

Before starting with Taylor, I felt sluggish. I had regular, various body pains and injuries. I didn’t feel good about my body.
I wanted to be stronger, feel better physically, and feel good about my fitness and the appearance of my body.
Now, after the time we’ve spent training, I feel powerful! I’m stronger and more confident. With every point of progress and increase in physical capability, my entire life has improved.

Despite having been a lifelong athlete and occasional movement instructor, my day job in the tech sector and accompanying seated screen time resulted in years of chronic back pain.
Working with Taylor on simple, fundamental hinging, lifting, and posture has helped me fundamentally relearn how to walk and stand properly, eliminating symptoms that doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, instructors, and my own research had failed to treat or even properly diagnose.
Taylor is happy to explain the “why”s of anything he asks me to do, and is eager to share his knowledge so that I am better educated to take more ownership of my strength and recovery.
I strongly recommend you consult Taylor if you’re tired of hearing contradictory advice, worrying you’re not taking care of yourself, or fearing that your condition is permanent. I feel better than I have in years.
Thanks Taylor!

Since I turned 50 I began experiencing occasional bouts of quadriceps cramps. I’m a cyclist and more than once the spasms were bad enough that I had to call for a ride home.
I’ve tried more hydration, bananas, pickle juice, stretching, massage, and more sleep… nothing really seemed to work. Taylor counterintuitively (for me) has me working on other muscles to achieve more balance.
I’m feeling stronger and my cramps have almost entirely gone away.
